Welcome!
If you want to serve fresh, naturally grown produce for twenty-two weeks this summer and fall, you came to the right place. The coop offers seasonal shares through FarmFreshCSA. We hope you spend some time on this website learning about this CSA program, the multi-farm coop and its growers who pledge to bring you safe and healthy local food.
If your reading time is limited at least check out the sample shares under the CSA page to find out what you can expect in the weekly boxes in the various seasons and read about our family farmers.
Then come back often to find some new recipes that have been shared with CSA subscribers over the years from 2006 to 2012. In June, the coop opens its Online Farmers Market to offer CSA subscribers and others the opportubity to buy additional fruits and vegetables that may not be in the box that week. Farm eggs and grass fed meat will also be on sale. Pick-up at Batesville or Bright.
CSA sign-up time for 2013 season takes place between Feb 15 and May 11. Click here to sign up online for the Harvest Share (family size) or for the Market Share (couple size).
New option for local CSA subscribers! A U-Pic CSA Share for 16 of 22 weeks where you choose at least four items for each weekly box! Sign-up time was between January 15 and February 14, 2013. After May 1, 2013, others may sign up for this custom share by contacting Claire Whalen to request a paper sign-up sheet. Call her at 812-933-0818.
